AWASI - IGUAZÚ
In August 2025, Diane spent a week immersed in the Rainforest, continuing her practice of ‘bearing witness,’ while exploring new approaches to capturing the beauty of the rainforest. She explored graphite rubbings, new photographic explorations, and drone imagery as ways to record the landscape. Now, taking these records to the studio, she’s working to relay the importance of this ecosystem’s preservation in a salient, visually striking way.
The photographic explorations below both document and explore natural textures & topographies, as well as the relationship between the built and natural environments.
