PATAGONIAN ICE FIELD

After Antarctica and Greenland, the third largest ice field in the world is shared between Argentina and Chile.  From January 7th, to the 10th, 2015 I visited Viedma, Perito Moreno and Upsala glaciers all located within Argentina’s Los Glaciares National Park (a UNESCO World Heritage site). It was thrilling to witness these glaciers, which over thousands of years have carved and shaped the landscape I traversed. Viedma was particularly compelling and a challenge to climb….
