AWASI IGUAZU: ARTIST IMMERSION RESIDENCY 〰️ AUGUST 2025 〰️
In Spring 2025, Diane was invited to apply for an Artist Immersion Residency in the Atlantic Rainforest at AWASI Iguazú by AVP Art Advisory. In August 2025, she spent a week immersed in the Rainforest, continuing her practice of ‘bearing witness,’ while exploring new approaches to capturing the beauty of the rainforest. She explored graphite rubbings, new photographic explorations, and drone imagery as ways to record the landscape. Now, taking these records to the studio, she’s working to relay the importance of this ecosystem’s preservation in a salient, visually striking way.
