MULTIPLE VIEWS
I think it was Aristotle who first created the phrase: “The whole is greater than the sum of the parts”.
To me the concept has always meant synergy, gestalt -the idea that no matter how good a single image may be- sometimes grouping many can create an even more powerful image. I have employed that philosophy in my paintings as well as in my photography practice as evidenced in the grids presented here.
